Chances are, if you’re checking out this course you are either stuck in some behavior that you haven’t been able to change, or you have someone you care about who is stuck and you want to learn how to help them.
Either way, I’m glad you’re here! And I’m confident you won’t be disappointed—if you are faithful to do the godliness training exercises each week. More on that later.
The course was originally taught in five extended sessions over a five-week period. But seven or eight weeks might be more realistic for people with a busy schedule. Whatever your pace, the lessons are broken down into small, bite-sized chunks, so it’s a piece of cake to knock at least one out each day.
I strongly recommend you go through this course with at least one friend. A group is even better. Changing stubborn behaviors is hard—obviously. That’s why you’re here. And you will be tempted to drop out half way through. It’s crucial that you hang in all the way to the end, and you’ll be ten times more likely to do that if you have a friend walking with you along the way.
Also, I intend to walk with you as well. This is not just a series of videos and exercises. I have been a pastor and counselor for almost 3 decades and have helped a lot of people overcome everything from annoying habits to life-dominating addictions. And I will make myself available for you throughout the course. I will respond promptly to any email questions, and, if necessary, we can speak on the phone.
I really want you to have success. And I’m very confident that, if you’re committed to follow the steps, you will! In just a matter of weeks, your whole life can be completely different.
